Summary

Busy storefronts in New York face constant exposure to city grime and weather, which can leave glass awnings looking dull and streaked. We were asked to restore clarity and improve maintenance for a series of glass canopies.

The Work

Set up and secured the work area for safe access to elevated glass
Used mobile scaffolding to reach all awning sections
Pre-rinsed, brushed, and detailed glass and framing to remove dirt and buildup
Applied a hydrophobic water-repellent treatment to the upper surfaces
Conducted a final inspection and touch-up for a clean finish

The Outcome

The glass awnings now look brighter and more inviting from the street. The new water-repellent layer will help water bead off and slow down buildup, making ongoing cleaning more manageable.
